For a long time, the Boeing 747 was the largest airliner in the world. Also known as the jumbo jet, it completed its first flight in 1969. The improved version 747-200 is equipped with more powerful engines and greater fuel capacity. It can carry up to 505 passengers 10,506km. The famous Air Force One - the airplane of the President of the USA - is a Boing 747.
