Catan has evolved from an inconspicuous settlement into a collection of prosperous cities with elegant town halls, libraries and mighty fortresses. The settlers surrounded themselves with riches, which unfortunately drew the attention of wild barbarians.

Now an army of knights must be quickly mobilised to confront these enemies. It not only requires the courage of the settlers, but also tactical thinking.
