Description

The miniature replica represents the 67.5-meter-long ship and features intricate reproductions of its 4,600 hp Stork diesel engines, as well as the distinctive helicopter landing deck. Originally named "Smit Houston," the ship was completed in 1976 and transformed in 1990 by Greenpeace, which added the helicopter landing deck. Since 1995, it has served the Dutch coast guard based in Den Helder and has a maximum speed of 14 knots.
