Description

The pteranodon was one of the largest pterosaurs of the Cretaceous period. Its wings reached a span of up to seven metres and were ideally suited to use the wind for gliding. Its special feature is the conspicuous bone crest on the back of the head, which probably helped to counterbalance the long beak.

These lovingly designed animal figures are perfect for getting even the youngest ones excited about nature and environmental issues.
